Vieple Anti Cheating Measures

With an increased use of generative AI, Testgrid has expanded its anti-cheating measures, to ensure the suitability of the candidates you progress forward with.

Below you can find a list of all the preventative measures found in the Vieple Video Interviewing system, how to use them, and how they will affect your candidate’s experiences in the Vieple system.

Prevent From Content Pasting

In the Vieple system, when you’re setting up an interview and creating questions, you can activate the toggle;

Prevent From Content Pasting

This will make it so that candidates cannot copy the text of a question, nor can they paste anything from their clipboard into the answer input. This is the most straightforward way of preventing users from cheating, as they cannot simply cut and paste the answer. This helps prevent;

  • Googling the answer
  • Putting the question into a LLM (ChatGPT)
  • Sharing the question online.

This is a feature only available to text-based questions, and essay questions, and must be turned on individually for each question.

See a more detailed guide about enabling here: Enabling Prevent From Content Pasting

Dynamic Questions

When creating Vieple questions, admins can choose a Randomised Question type.

This question type allows the admin to select a pool of questions that can be drawn on randomly when asked to the candidate. This decreases the likelihood of any 2 candidates having the same interview experience. This prevents the sharing of questions, decreasing the chance that someone may be able to prep for a question before the interview starts.

Suspicious Behaviour - Recorded Prep Time

Vieple records the behaviour of a candidate during the question review time. This allows reviewers to check videos for suspicious behaviours, such as reaching for a secondary device, or behaviour such as looking at a second screen, and reading an answer before continuing to the answer portion.
