Auto Exclusion

Vieple can label respondents as 'excluded' based on your score criteria. This will allow you to view and export the respondents who have achieved the required score for each question.

The label is applied based on the average score the respondent has received for a particular question. You can set this to happen when the first rating is submitted, or after a certain number of Raters have rated the question.

Click on the links below to see instructions for setting up Auto Exclusion in your interview:

Auto Exclusion for Video, Text/Essay and Audio Questions

Trigger Auto Exclude when Finalised Results Equals:

This setting determines how many Raters need to submit a score for this question before the label is triggered.

You can set this value to 1 to have the label apply as soon as the first score is submitted.

Exclude if Average Question Rating is:

This setting will determine the score cut-off for Auto Exclusion.

Greater than: Any average score above this value will result in the respondent being labelled as excluded.

Less than: Any average score below this value will result in the respondent being labelled as excluded.

You can leave either value blank if you would like to use just one type of logic.

For example, this automatic scoring will:

  • Apply the Excluded label after 2 Raters have submitted a score for this question and finalised their review
    IF
  • The average score they have received from those Raters is less than or equal to 3.
