Once you have integration enabled on your Vieple Account, you can follow the instructions in this article to get set up.
Initial Account Set Up (Complete Once)

Interview Set Up (Complete for each Video Interview you create)
- Step 4 - Set up Events

- Step 6 - Create a Job Requisition and add a Video Interview Invitation
*Important*
All interviews integrated with SuccessFactors will require the Finalisation option enabled.
After setting up your interview, please verify this by going to the Interview Settings page, and set Finalisation Required to On before clicking Update to save the changes:
Step 1 - Locate your Integration Instructions
The first step in getting set up is to locate your Integration instructions page. You can find this in the settings page for any interview on your Vieple account.

Step 3 | Select the first interview you would like to integrate with SuccessFactors. If you haven't set up an interview yet, you can do so using our guide here. | |

Step 2 - Add Vieple to your SuccessFactors Assessment Vendor List
To enable Vieple as an assessment provider on your SuccessFactors account, you will need to upload our pre-prepared file.

Step 3 | Search for Manage Assessment Vendors and click on the result. | |
Step 4 | Select the Import Option. | |

Step 6 | Click Choose file and select the file downloaded in step 5. | |

Step 3 - Create an Oauth Application
Step 1 | Log in to your SuccessFactors account | |
Step 2 | Search for "oauth" and select Manage OAuth2 Client Applications | |
Step 3 | Select Register Client Application | |
Step 4 | Fill out the details. IMPORTANT: Do not press 'Register' until you complete the subsequent steps.

Step 5 | Click Generate X.509 Certificate | |
Step 6 | Fill out the required Common Name and Validity (Days) fields:
Common Name: Vieple X.509 Validity (Days): As required, default is 365 days | |

Step 8 | You will be returned to the previous page, and the X.509 field will be populated. | |
Step 9 | IMPORTANT: Click Download. | |
Step 10 | Click Register. | |
Step 11 | IMPORTANT: Send an email to [email protected] with a copy of the downloaded file from step 9. | Support will pass the document on to the Vieple development team to complete additional configuration. Once this has been completed, they will notify you to proceed to continue to Step 4. |
Step 4 - Set up Events
Events allow the SuccessFactors platform to keep track of your candidates' progress in the Video Interview.
Step 1 | Log in to your SuccessFactors account. | |
Step 2 | Click See All on the Tools widget. | |
Step 3 | Search for Event Notification Subscription and click on the result. | |
Step 4 | Click into the Subscriber tab and select Add Subscriber. If you do not see the Add Subscriber option, you may need to click Edit first. | |
Step 5 | Add a new subscriber with Subscriber ID, Name, Group and Client ID set to VIEPLE. | |
Step 6 | Click Save to record your changes. | |
Step 7 | Click into the External Event tab. | |
Step 8 | Refer to your Integration Instructions from Step 1 to fill in the details for your event. User and Password should be left blank. | |
Step 9 | Click Save to record your changes and finish setting up your events. |

Step 5 - Add your Video Interview to SuccessFactors as an Assessment Package
This step is required for each of your Vieple interviews to set them up as task that can be assigned to candidates on SuccessFactors. This requires access to SuccessFactors PROVISIONING.
Vieple recognises that some companies must log a ticket to access their SuccessFactors Provisioning. To make it easier, we have created a process that allows Vieple support to handle this configuration for you. Use your SuccessFactors Provisioning to upload the initial package codes file as outlined in the steps below. For future interviews, simply email Vieple support with the Vieple Video Interview ID and SuccessFactors Job Requisition ID and they will handle it for you. |
Step 1 | From the Integration Instructions accessed in Step 1, copy the link under the Package Codes section and paste it into a new browser tab. If you would like to add the current interview, use the first link (yellow). To add all interviews on your Vieple account, use the second link (green). | |
Step 2 | A file will automatically download and save to your computer. | |
Step 3 | Click the link below to download the Assessment Package Import File

Step 4 | Copy the cells in Column A to Column E (excluding headings) over to the import template. | |
Step 5 | Copy the values in Column F (excluding headings) to Column F to Column S in the import template. If you would like to translate the title of your task, you can put the translated name under the corresponding heading in the columns F to S. | |
Step 6 | After completing the above steps, your file will look similar to the following image. You can right click and view this image in a new tab if it is difficult to view on the page. | |
Step 7 | Log in to SuccessFactors PROVISIONING. | |
Step 8 | Go to Import/Export Assessment Vendor Packages under the Managing Recruiting header. You can use Ctrl + F on your web browser to search the page if it is difficult to locate. | |
Step 9 | Select Import. | |
Step 10 | Click Choose file and select the updated version of Assessment Package Import Template - Vieple.csv that you have created in steps 4 - 6 | |
Step 11 | Click Submit |
For Newly Created Interviews | ||
Step 12 | For newly created interviews, email the Vieple Video Interview Name, URL address and SuccessFactors Job Requisition ID to [email protected] and they will configure the association. Allow 48h for this request to be actioned. Alternatively, use SuccessFactors provisioning as described in steps 1-11 to upload any new interviews as tasks in SuccessFactors. The SuccessFactors Job Requisition ID can be found at the top of the Job Requisition page, and in the table listing all of your job requisitions: |

Step 13 | Head to live.vieple.com and log into your account. Select the interview that you wish to connect to your Successfactors job. Copy and paste the Name of the interview and the URL at the top of your browser the interview into your email to [email protected] |

Step 6 - Create a Job Requisition and add a Video Interview Invitation
When creating your next Job Requisition, you can now add a Vieple Video Interview as an assessment.
Step 1 | Create your new Job Requisition per usual. | |
Step 2 | At the bottom of the settings page, update the Assessment assciation section to include your new interview task. When a candidate reaches the nominated Status, they will receive the invitation to the video interview. They will be able to log in to their SuccessFactors account to access the task. | |
