Set up Multi-Factor Authentication for your Login
Once you have MFA activated for your organisation, you can activate it for your account by following these steps:
Log in at live.vieple.com
Click on your name in the top-right corner of the page, and select the Settings option. You can also return to this page if you wish to adjust your settings or opt-out of Multi-Factor Authentication in future.
Change Multi-Factor Authentication to On and click update to save your changes. If you would like to receive your code by email, you can change Send Code Via Email to On. With this setting turned on, you won't need to register your code with an authenticator app. Click here to skip to the next step.
The page will re-load and show you your new Authentication Key and QR Code.
Enter the Key or scan the QR Code using your Authenticator App. If your organisation does not provide an Authenticator App, we recommend using Google Authenticator. This can be downloaded for Android or iOS from your device's app store.
Now that your authentication is set up, your next log in attempt will prompt you to enter a code.
To finish signing in, enter the code that is shown in your MFA app, or that you have received via email. |
|
Generate a new Key and QR Code
If you would like to reset your security key or QR Code, you can do this by heading into the account settings page:
Click on your name in the top-right corner of the page, and select the Settings option.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the red Reset button.
To use your updated code, you will need to add it back into your authenticator app. For instructions on that, you can follow the steps in the section above. |
Restore Access to your Account in the Event of a Lost Authenticator
