You can add pre-recorded video clips to your Vieple interview questions.
Respondents will have an opportunity to watch your video through once before being prompted to record their response to the question. You can choose to allow respondents to watch the video again if they would like. Re-watching the video will use their review and/or response time limit.
To set up a Video Question on your account, you can follow the steps below.
How to Set Up your Video Question
Step 1 | Film your video question(s) and upload the videos using the instructions on our Question and Greeting Videos article here. | |
Step 2 | Log in to your account at live.vieple.com to create a new interview. | |
Step 3 | In the Questions tab for your new interview, click on the Advanced Options link in the bottom-right corner of the page: | |
Step 4 | Select your video from the Attach Video drop down list. | |
Step 5 | Give your video a name and a short instruction for candidates - this is what they will see when the video plays for them the first time. You can check out a sample of the respondent perspective here. | |
Step 6 | Choose if you would like to allow replays. If this is set to On, Respondents will see an option to re-watch the video during the question. | |
Step 7 | Click Add Question to save this question to your new interview. |
Respondent Perspective
When your Respondent accesses the question, they will see the video pop-up:
Once the video has been played through once, the pop-up will close, and the question timer will start. If you have enabled the Allow Replay option, candidates can click Replay Video to show the pop-up again.
