Randomise Interview Questions from your Question Bank

Modified on Thu, 16 Nov, 2023 at 11:41 AM

You can allow for Respondents to be randomly allocated a question from your selection when they are invited to the interview. They won't be able to re-randomise their questions after they have received their invitation.

To set up a Random Question on your account, you can follow the instructions below.

How to Set Up your Random Question

Step 1

Add your questions to the Question Bank.

Questions must be added to the same category on the Question Bank before they can be added to a random question. For instructions on saving a question to the Question Bank, check out our article here.

Step 2
Click New Interview in the left side-bar.

Step 3
In the Questions tab for your new interview, select the Randomised option for your Question Type.

Step 6

Adjust your Response Type, Review Time and Response Time as you would for a normal interview question. Once you have finished configuring your question, click Add Question.

If you would like to make any changes to your random question, remove it by clicking the X on its card at the bottom of the page to remove it. You can then re-add the question with any changes.
